Before we come to the end of 2010 and everyone and their blog lavish the album with the unending praise it so richly deserves, Canadian genius Caribou will get around to releasing a remix album edition of Swim.

Coming out on October 26th (digitally, that is), Swim Remixes will find Caribou’s already worn out record get the remix treatment from a diverse cast of producer friends including James Holden, Junior Boys, Gold Panda and the mighty DJ Koze who contributes three reworks to the package.

The remix album is just another feather in the oversized cap of Caribou in 2010, who’s recently added a sprawling live LP to his achievements. Now we just sit and wait patiently for the details on that Four Tet/Caribou Australian tour, however difficult that may be.
