While we here at ITM HQ are still reeling from our birthday bash earlier this year another strapping dance music institution has clocked up their very own milestone in 2010, with Jesse Rose’s pioneering fidget label Made To Play hitting its fifth anniversary this month.

Having spent the last five years churning out unspeakably good tracks from production titans like Riva Starr, Oliver $, Trevor Loveys, Jan Driver and Jesse Rose himself, Made To Play’s fifth birthday offers label boss Rose the opportunity to look back and reflect on all the bangers gone by, resulting in a whole mess of treats released next week to celebrate the label’s reign.

Dropping internationally on October 25th, Re:Play – Five Years of Made To Play gets the epic treatment with Rose compiling a double album filled with all new tracks cross-bred from his stable of artists and a retrospective mix from the man himself. The whole package comes bundled with 48-page covering the label’s growth over the last five years. Very tidy, if we do say.
