Can you believe it’s almost December? After two agonisingly long years of hype and anticipation, the Daft Punk scored Tron Legacy is almost at hand and we couldn’t be more excited to finally consume the futuristic tech-epic in all its 3D glory.
If you’ve been anywhere near ITM in that time period then you would’ve likely heard a little bit about Daft Punk’s involvement in the Disney feature film which sees the French robots not only composing the soundtrack to the movie but also appearing in the film itself as DJs on ‘The Grid’, sporting some fancy new helmets and costumes.
With the duo’s soundtrack due for release a week and a bit before the film itself on December 6th, fans now have a very tasty new taste of what to expect from Daft Punk’s score with a video clip for the tune Derezzed released overnight. While past previews of the soundtrack have been of a more cinematic bent, Derezzed is an out and out banger filled with squelching synths and raw processed beats. Oh happy day!
Check out the clip of Derezzed from Daft Punk below and keep counting down the days to release with ITM by hitting up the All About Tron Legacy page and becoming a fan to stay up to the minute with any other awesome news like this. Can’t type anymore…geeking…out!
