With every day that we inch closer to the release of Disney’s futuristic tech-epic Tron Legacy and the equally as anticipated soundtrack from Daft Punk it seems as though eager fans are tossed out a little skerrick of information to sate the hunger until December. This time we’ve got a couple of nuggets to share, including a new track from the French duo’s score as well as an alleged tracklisting. Fasten your geek-belts!

The new piece of Daft Punk’s score follows a similar vein to the recently released Derezzed single, which showed that the iconic robots hadn’t lost their electro touch while working with a 100-piece orchestra on the score for Tron Legacy. Called simply Tron Legacy, the new tune looks to close out the film’s credits with an ocean of flourishing synths. Check it below while it’s still online.

Speaking out about Daft Punk’s ‘amazing’ score in an exclusive interview with inthemix, Tron Legacy director Joseph Kosinski enthused about working with the French producers, describing the soundtrack as “a combination of minimal electronic music with classic orchestral themes” blended together “in a new, fresh way”.
