Notching up its 26th year in 2011, the International Dance Music Awards has announced its exhaustive list of nominees. The ceremony – which happens amongst the parties and panels at the Miami Winter Music Conference – acknowledges DJs, producers, labels, clubs, websites and just about any other facet of dance music you could think of. The winners are also decided by the public (or should we say electronic enthusiasts?), with over two million votes cast.

First things first – inthemix is stoked to be nominated in the ‘Best Dance Music Website’ category, so if you’ve got a minute, be sure to send a vote our way.

The nominees across the 56 categories certainly give a picture of dance music in the US, with club-mining pop stars like Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Katy Perry in contention with the likes of Deadmau5, Markus Schulz and the Swedish House Mafia.
