Because everyone from Tiga to The Bloody Beetroots and even Erick Morillo now has their own live show, ITM April Fool’s Day victim Eric Prydz will be launching his own spin on the EDM live show concept with an ‘EPIC’ 3D show and the first images of Prydz’s setup have now made their way online.
Speaking previously about his live ambitions Prydz explained that he wanted to “push the boundaries of a live electronic music show with technology that hasn’t been used before” and to give my fans an experience that they will never forget”. Looking at the animated preview of the EPIC setup he might have indeed succeeded in that as it looks pretty spectacular.
The sky-high structure in the video below seems to dwarf the figure of Prydz and the potential for eye-splitting visuals on those massive screens is even more tantalising, even though we know Prydz will never bring the show to Australia.
Although HousePlanet is claiming that the video comes from an ‘anonymous’ source, we’re inclined to believe it’s validity due to its high production values and the feeling that this is just some canny viral marketing for the live show’s unveiling at London’s O2 Academy in April.
