Having thrilled ITMers with last year’s lauded turn at the helm of the DJ-Kicks mix series, German genius Apparat is getting ready to release a new artist album in 2011. While his previous LP offerings have been released under Shitkatapult the as-yet-unnamed new disc will bear the logo of storied British imprint Mute.

According to a report from FACT the new LP will see Apparat stretching out to explore some “new musical territory”, a prospect which should have fans chomping at the bit for the record’s release around Q3 this year.

As if to sate his fans following this news, Apparat has made a Ash/Black Veil from the forthcoming LP available to stream and download at your leisure. Suss it out below.
