Not content with merely ruling the top-tier DJ ranks and pulling in a paltry $20 million bucks a year, Dutch trance king Tiesto is getting ready to launch his next bid at brand domination with In The Booth, a reality show/documentary series charting his life behind the decks around the world.

As picked up by Mixmag, the In The Booth show will follow Tijs as he makes his way across the world on tour, hitting up the big global festivals as well as his annual residency at Privilege in Ibiza and presumably on his forthcoming college invasion in the US.

“I am really excited to be producing my own show,” Tiesto said of In The Booth’s genesis. “And for the first time my fans will be able to truly experience all that happens on tour and behind-the-scenes.”

While Jersey Shore deck-head DJ Pauly D is also launching a DJ TV show around his career, Tiesto’s series will take a thankfully stripped back approach with each of the 15 episodes running for five to seven minutes and being streamed online, presumably through Tiesto’s plentiful social media avenues.

Our only hope for Tiesto’s In The Booth series is that it follows the standard reality show formula set out by the Kardashians et al and sees Tiesto go shopping, get mani-pedis and gossip about boys with his DJ pals.
