For a long while, Eddie Halliwell has been the exception to the rule that productions equal profile. Instead, the UK gun has ascended the dance music ranks as a blinding DJ, combining showmanship and a arsenal of technical wizardry. Well, now the time has come for Halliwell to add another notch to his belt.
On 25 July, he’ll release a pair of singles, Neon and Aether, which kick off his new ‘Elements’ production series. The tracks also introduce Halliwell’s new label FIUR. Along with the debut club weapons comes the first in another series, ‘Eddie Halliwell presents Ed-It-1’. These releases will allow people to remix and re-edit the parts of the track in the studio or on-the-fly in a DJ set, a concept that seems true to how Halliwell works.
