An Acid Jack goes Hard in America

Now carrying on the Acid Jack(s) name on his own, Melbourne club fiend Antonio Celestino is enjoying a frenzied 2011. With his own Idiot House Records firing and a cavalry of co-conspirators like Boy 8-Bit, Drop The Lime and MSTRKRFT, the local boy is doing big things abroad.

To get in practice for the national Stereosonic tour this summer, he hopped a plane to the USA in August for the Hard Summer Festival in dance music boom-town L.A. The only Australian act on the line-up, Celestino was tasked with getting the Summer Stage all riled up before Gesaffelstein, Carte Blanche, Digitalism and co.

As any good tourist should do, Acid Jack made a video of his travels, which has been cut together into a blur of hotel rooms, diners, highways and, best of all, Hard Summer letting loose. We particularly enjoyed seeing what a Boys Noize crowd losing its shit en masse looks like from the other side of the DJ desk. Full credit to Acid Jack, too; it looks like he had them raving bright and early.
