Just last week, Swiss gun Deetron let slip to inthemix that he is next in line for the revered Balance mix-CD series. Now the label has revealed the lengthy tracklist for his two-parter, with CD one mixed digitally, and CD two using vinyl.

“I chose to use both digital and analogue formats since I’m using both when I’m playing out,” the DJ explains in the press notes. “This compilation is a celebration of the gorgeous format that is vinyl and a praise for the endless possibilities the digital world has to offer.”

At this early stage, Balance 20 looks like a treasure trove of house, techno and bass music, blending in familiar records with lesser-known cuts. If you’ve seen Deetron at work in a club, you’ll know to have faith in how he pieces all this together. Balance 020: Deetron will be released 4 November through Balance Music.
