Sometimes things just work out for the best, like when the deviant minds of Adult Swim announce a free compilation featuring some of the brightest talents in dubstep and electronica.

In collaboration with Scion Audio/Visual, Adult Swim has taken time out from distributing the likes of Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Robot Chicken to turn an unexpected ear towards the ever-fertile sounds of murky dancefloors. Their collection of 18 ‘rare and unreleased tracks’ is titled [unclassified], and you can download it for free over at the Adult Swim website. See, Tuesdays aren’t so bad after all.

By the pedigree of the [unclassified] tracklist, it looks as though Adult Swim has some distinguished fans. Burial’s 2011 return to the limelight Street Halo is there, alongside contributions from Kode9, Pinch, Zomby, Actress, SBTRKT and fellow masters of mood.
