In the lead-up to his semi-imminent trip Down Under for Summadayze, Summafieldayze and Field Day, Tiga has been keeping busy. After recently launching his new record label, the Canadian DJ last night kicked off the first of four shows on his new BBC radio series ‘My Name is Tiga’. Evidently keen to demonstrate that there’s no shortage of quality material floating around, this series begins a bi-monthly residency at the BBC 6 Mix decks for Tiga.

The 120 minute stream features tracks from the likes of Azari & Ill, SBTRKT and Little Dragon. Tiga announced the stream to his fans on Facebook, stating “I was there when the internet began back in 2004. And I’ll be there when it ends five years from now”.
