2011 has been a standout year for trance gurus Above & Beyond, from releasing the Group Therapy album and touring the world to celebrating the 10th year of operations for Anjunabeats. The year isn’t over, though, until the trio presents its annual label compilation.
Anjunabeats Volume 9 is set to arrive on 13 November, featuring two discs of “predominantly unreleased, exclusive tracks” from the stable’s stars like Andrew Bayer, Matt Lange, Jaytech, Oliver Smith and Mat Zo. The label bosses themselves also make a few appearances across the tracklisting with unreleased originals.
To celebrate the upcoming release, the trio has put together a mini-mix to set the mood. We’ve embed the mix here after the tracklisting. It opens – as disc one of Anjunabeats Volume 9 does – with Above & Beyond’s Tokyo, and manages to condense 14 tracks into a lean 14 minutes.
