It’s a big day for Radiohead b-sides! A bunch of previously unreleased tracks from the British band have surfaced– two crica-1986 demos and three additional King of Limbs remixes all freshly hitting the internet.
A YouTube user recently uploaded two tracks they claim are rare demos from back when Radiohead was called On A Friday, before guitarist Johnny Greenwood joined the ranks. It’s a different sound than we’re used to from Radiohead – but that’s definitely Thom Yorke’s voice hiding underneath all that saxophone.
In addition, Radiohead have posted three King of Limbs remixes that didn’t make the official remix album. Bassist Colin Greenwood posted a message to fans accompanying the remixes, writing:
“Hello! Here are the three remixes by Anstam, Nathan Fake and Jamie xx that sadly didn’t make it in time for the vinyl release – we wanted to get them out because we’re big fans and wanted you to hear them too.”
You can listen to the remixes here, and check out the demos below.
