It’s just a matter of days now before Armin van Buuren touches down in Australia – this time as the leading star of Stereosonic 2011. Hoping to hear some classics in his sets? We’d be willing to bet on it. “What I love about DJing is that I’ve never played a set with exactly the same tracks two nights in a row,” the Dutchman told us recently. “I always look at the crowd and decide where to go.”

Timeless tracks are likely to be on Armin’s mind, as the sixth volume of A State Of Trance Classics is out through Central Station Records on Friday 25 November – just before Stereosonic lifts off.

The first edition in the series was released in 2006 and now we have another 36 of the radio show’s best-loved tunes across four discs.
