The eternal toast of Eurovision, Parklife 2011 charmer Sebastien Tellier has announced that his next album is due out April 16.

The release, to be called My God Is Blue, will be his first since 2008 – and Tellier’s set the bar pretty high if he wants to top all the (very many) orgasmic strains contained throughout the renowned Sexuality. But Tellier assured Oyster that “the music is great; I feel very comfortable with my new record”.

The ever-quotable Frenchman also told Oyster that the record was produced by Mr Flash, explaining the man as “The first real crazy person I have met who has a normal life. I don’t understand how he can do that, because he is so fucked up… At lunch, he will try the wine and he will try 30 bottles. I think he has to go to the hospital”.

To top it all off, Tellier told Mixmag that My God Is Blue is the release “where he achieves his spiritual maturity” and “a work of art that serves another on an infinitely higher plane”. Sounds like Tellier at his eccentric finest – we can’t wait.
