Summadayze, Summafieldayze and Field Day performer 12th Planet has announced plans to release a five-track EP for free download.

The dubstep producer will release the EP, titled Scion A/V Presents: The End is Near on January 18 – a move reminiscent of fellow dubstep producers Skream and Benga, who recently released an EP of their own for free download on Scion A/V.

12th Planet has been all over the dubstep scene of late: he’s completed a 50-date US tour with Skrillex, co-produced a track on Korn’s dubstep foray and was even dubbed “US dubstep godfather” by Mixmag.
