After months of rumours it is now official that Ferry Corsten and The Thrillseekers have collaborated in the studio in what promises to be the standout trance combination of 2003.
Ferry has already test driven the track during one of his gigs in December and the track will make the Ferry Corsten artist album due out in the second half of this year.
Both of whom who toured Australia towards the end of last year, are as yet to name the project but more will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Steve Helstrip (aka The Thrillseekers) has also just finished a remix of Jan Johnston’s classic ‘Libra Pres. Taylor – Calling Your Name’. The track will be released on Platipus in the next few months with two reworks from The Thrillseekers and also another mix from Neo & Farina.
In other good news, fellow UK trance producer Pulser has scheduled studio time with The Thrillseekers so they can begin work on the third installment of their Insigma combination.
As for Ferry, things are going very well too. He was voted as the number 9 DJ in the World, something which he was happily surprised with considering he took time off to get married and to finish off his System F album for Japan, which coincidentally has now been released. ‘Together’ is a specially made album for Japan only but soon enough will be available to buy online.
Ferry’s latest and much anticipated release, System F’s ‘Solstice’ with a B-side of the ‘Out Of The Blue 2002 Remix’ is selling by the load and this is urging him on to make his debut Ferry Corsten album a big success. An album in which he is planning to show a variety of sounds, not only trance.
