MUSICAL BACKGROUND: One of the Founding members of the infamous Shifty Productions, Butterz has been bringing the funky beats since 2000. Showing up all over the place, you would be more surprised if he wasn't playing at your house party or in your club or bar. Blending the Funkiest of Breakbeat, Funk, HipHop, Bigbeat and that song that you thought no one would ever play and get away with, he's Played alongside Superstyle Deluxe, Rogue Element, General Midi, Capoeira Twins, Rephrase, Boca45 & Bass Kleph to name a few, holds residencies at Rumpus Room (rspkt), Brisbanes home of breakbeat; Empire Moon Bar, Uber, Ric's along with showing up all around BrisVegas at numerous parties & bars. But it doesn’t stop there, Liam is also an aspiring Artist for Shifty Productions, designing all types of flyers, cd covers, Logo’s visuals and the official artist for UK Heavyweight Breakbeat label “Payback Project” Also, being a Producer of Breaks/HipHop&Funk for six years because of a nasty addiction to twirling knobs, pressing buttons on His AKAI MPC4000 and a hankering for creating music instead of just playing other peoples, its no surprise that Butterz has also been picked up by the same label for his own vinyl release “Meanie” coming up with a very tasty remix by SuperStyleDeluxe & "On Like Donkey Kong".
