From an early age Brett Cooke a.k.a K.Y.P had a passion for the non comercial side of music. He has been in the dance scene over many years and always amazed by the talent of the D.j's. For Xmas 2006 his partner gave him a life changing present. An experience to do the D.j course with Austalian School Of Music Technology and said here is your chance to live your dream. K.Y.P has not looked back since that day. His passion along with his thirst of music just continue to grow at a remarkable pace. K.Y.P derives his inspratation by setting a vibe to the crowd so they feel the music as he has done for so many years. K.Y.P started his DJ career with Bass Station, which was held every Friday night at the Palace in St Kilda. He soon found himself playing at PHD (Pure hard Dance) Stargarden in Chapple Street, Infekted in the CBD and the odd guest spot at Bubble, CBD. He has recently taken on a partnership with Agent Entertainment in Melbourne wich runs Melbournes latest hard dance/hardstyle kid on the block Infekted. Infekted is held at Inflations nightclub, Geddes Lane CBD. He is can be found playing in clubs around Melbourne with a residencys and rotationals at Infekted, PHD and Bass Australia. Although fairly new as a Dj, K.Y.P is increasinly getting his recognition in Melbourne with a strong support crew growing every day. His music varies from soft trance all the way through to the harder end of the scene such as hardtrance and hardstyle.
