All About Me

Destination? Label / Agency / Events / Promotions

Destination? began life as a club night and now, in it's 4th year, it is operating as a record label, artist agency, promotions and events company. The Destination? team is comprised of Pete and Mark (Signal Drivers), Jen, Dave, Victor, Karl Sav, Sez and Alex. They were recognised for their contribution to the music scene being voted "Outstanding Contribution" at the most recent Perth Dance Music Awards and continue to push the boundaries to make the scene better.

Destination?'s record label was launched in 2007 with it's first release being the dancefloor smash from the Signal Drivers "Pump Funk Junk". It gets the remix treatment from one of the biggest names in electro / minimal tech going around, Great Stuff's Lutzenkirchen. The second release Signal Drivers "Just Breathe" sees Groove Diggerz on the remix duties and is already getting rave reviews.

Destination?'s runs an international and national artist agency. The quality of it's acts are of the most importance as it brings the next generation of DJs and Producers to Australia and New Zealand, as well as some genuine superstars. The agency continues to work on the ground with promoters and press to ensure that any Destination? act brings the same vibe that Destination? has built over the last 4 years.

Destination? is responsible for Destination? @ Ambar. Ambar is a club that was recently voted in DJ Mag's top 50 clubs of the world and the highest ranking club in Australia. Destination? was voted "Best Club Night" at the most recent Perth Dance Music Awards. The music is a fusion between Perths best DJs and Perths best live musicians. If you have kept up with the Destination? series you would have seen DJs teamed up with the likes of a didgeridoo, electric violin, sitar, African drums, brass instruments and much more! Destination? is fast gaining national and international recognition not just becuase of the quality of production coming forth from Destination? residents but because it is consistently a quality night out with a quality line up, quality club and a quality crowd.

The Fuzz is a weekly affair provided by Destination? down at The Como. It's more on the electro house / breaks tip with some mighty big names already appearing including The Rogue Element, Madox, Chris Carter and Bitrok. It's the perfect place to catch a drink with the best beats in town and, as always, it's free!

Destination?'s events are always a little left of centre but are always about having crazy fun. 2006 saw the Destination? Rollerdisco and the launch of the Destination? Summer Series bringing the music onto the beaches of Perth.

The Destination? series was a large factor in earning the Signal Drivers the best new talent and KarlSav a close 2nd in the Perth Dance Music Awards 2004. In Inthemix's top50 national DJ poll in 2006, Signal Drivers were voted in the top 5 for WA. Karl Sav also won "Best Local Tune" at the 2006 Perth Dance Music Awards.

Drassman is the man behind Destination?'s artwork. He came 2nd in the 2006 Perth Dance Music Awards for "Best Flyer". His brand of cheeky, sexy graphics is instantly recognisable and has been part of the huge success of this brand.

The Signal Drivers present Destination? Radio every Thursday night from 10pm on Perth's largest dance music station, GrooveFM 101.7. It delivers the freshest beats and breaks from around the world as well as having regular international and local guests

If you miss out on their radio show, the Signal Drivers present a monthly podcast so you can always get the sound of Destination? straight to your personal music player. To get the monthly link or to subscribe via itunes check out www.atmydestination.com
