Renowned in his home town of Canberra, Australia for playing an eclectic blend of Progressive beats, be it Techno, Tech-House, Nu-Skool & Prog Breaks, Tech-Funk, House, Minimal, Glitch, Autonomic, Dub or deeper sounds with subtly arranged acapellas, dj tools, loops & creative FX..
With over 12 years experience in producing music and DJ'ing since he was just 13, Fourthstate has supported a plethora of internationally recognised acts.
Fourthstates name has appeared on the bill as support act for international heavy weights such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Danny Howells, James Zabiela, Anthony Pappa, Hybrid, Kasey Taylor, Darren Emerson, Luke Chable, Oliver Huntermann, Tiefschwarz, Phil Kieran, The Plump Djs, Lee Coombs, Nic Fanciulli, King Unique, Sasha Le Monnier, Mike Monday, Phil K, Martin Eyerer, Ahmet Sendil, Paul Woolford, Justin Martin, Jamie Stevens (Infusion), Wiley, Break & Fierce, Robbie Lowe, Jaytech, Dopamine and many more to name.
Fourthstate has also played at many Australian festivals including Canberra's Foreshore, Warehouse, Stonefest, All Our Friends, Dragon Dreaming 2011 & 2012, Mothernature & Sydney's Chinese Laundry in the Cave.
As a side project from his norm, particularly at Drum & Bass / Dubstep parties, you will hear a swathe both bass heavy, intelligent Dubstep, Autonomic, Juke and Tech-Step sounds.
Production wise Alex’s original tracks and remixes have seen international release both digitally and physically through Stigma Recordings, Hypnotic Room Records, BamBam Muzik & EDM Digital and have received recognition from artists such as Anthony Pappa (UK), Kasey Taylor & Eve Falcon (USA).
