With over 11 years experience in producing music and DJ'ing since he was just 13, Fourthstate has supported a plethora of internationally recognised electronic acts. Renowned for playing an eclectic blend of Progressive tunes, be it House, Techno, Tech House, Nu-Skool & Progressive Breaks, Dubstep, Tech-Funk, Minimal, Glitch, Autonomic, Dub & deeper sounds with subtly arranged acapellas, dj tools, loops & creative FX..
Fourthstates name has appeared on the bill as warmup slot for numerous international heavy-weights such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Danny Howells, James Zabiela, Anthony Pappa, Hybrid, Kasey Taylor, Darren Emerson, Luke Chable, Oliver Huntermann, Tiefschwarz, Sasha Le Monnier, Phil Kieran, The Plump Djs, Lee Coombs, Nic Fanciulli, King Unique, Mike Monday, Phil K, Martin Eyerer, Paul Woolford, Morgan Page, Justin Martin, Jamie Stevens (Infusion), Wiley, Break & Fierce, Robbie Lowe, Dopamine and many more to name.
Fourthstate has also played at many of Canberra's festivals including Foreshore, Warehouse, Stonefest, All Our Friends, Dragon Dreaming and Mothernature and Sydney's Chinese Laundry nightclub.
As a side project from his norm, particularly at Drum & Bass / Dubstep parties, you will hear a swathe of both bass heavy, intelligent Dubstep, Autonomic, Glitch and Tech-Step sounds.
Production wise Alex’s original tracks and remixes have seen international release both digitally and physically through Hypnotic Room Records, Stigma Recordings, BamBam Muzik & EDM Digital and have received recognition from artists such as Anthony Pappa (UK), Kasey Taylor & Eve Falcon (USA).
