All About Me
fireSprite aka. David Appleseed has a long association with Electronic Music in Brisbane. With a Record Collection stretching back to the early days of Rave & Techno, David has been active in DIY & Doof circles since the mid 90s, first with the Dragonflight crew and then the Spin&Jam collective from the turn of the century. Performing as fireSprite, he was a regular guest playing Deep & Tribal Progressive at Tribal Eye & NZV parties. His interest in Nu-School & Progressive Breaks lead to his generation 2K project successfully breaking Phil K to a Brisbane audience at the Moonbar in 2001; and supporting such diverse luminaries as Digital Primate (Pro-Jex Records/UK), TECHiONE Live, DJ Slack (TeriakiAnarkiSaki/Melburn), Nick Warren (Distinctive Breaks/UK) & Lemon8 (Bedrock Records/Holland).
By 2002, falling levels of innovation & production values in both Progressive & Breaks spawned a new musical direction & a new guise.....
