v01tron, aka Benjamin Syles Lawless, previous incarnation Punjab: has been DJing since 1997, under his old DJ handle of DJ Punjab. He held a residency at Dunedin's (NZ) premiere nightclub - Bath Street, for 1999 and 2000, playing 7 hour sets every Saturday night with all shades of funky house, importing vinyl from Europe to play to newly converted South Island New Zealanders. He has self-released 6 albums under the name Punjab, as well as 2 DJ Mixes under the name DJ Punjab. He recently brought out DJ Voltron's KWIKMIX, and has since beaten it with DJ Voltron's "Full Spectrum House Mix". He has finished his 2008/2009 project - "Defender of the Mind Diverse". He's also completed a 7 track EP "The Ideas Man EP" and is currently putting the finishing touches on a full album length of daft punk and nine inch nails mash ups called "Nine Inch Punk". He's recently been given the opportunity to do some DJing in Vancouver, using three instance of Ableton to create a virtual three-deck experience....
