We’re now up to session08 in the inthemix podcast series, who’d have thunk it? To everyone who has shown support downloading the podcasts, big ups to you! This fortnight we have another colossal broadcast for you to sink your teeth into, so start downloading now… c’mon, what are you waiting for!
Featured Artist
The Knife [Hussle]
The Knife are a Swedish brother and sister duo, Karin and Olof. Based in Stockholm, they’ve been releasing music since 2001, and they received worldwide acclaim for their breakthrough album Deep Cuts, which was released here in Australia in 2004. They recently finished work on their brand new album, titled Silent Shout. A much darker affair, we got the chance to speak with Karin about her childhood, what it’s like having complete creative control, and how it felt to win a Swedish Grammy!

Emerging Artist
Foreigndub – Ohh Baby
This fortnight’s emerging artist is actually a collective. The Foreigndub crew are based in Sydney and they’re made up of three DJs and an MC. Anyone who has been to their Drum & Bass BBQ parties throughout summer will know how much fun these guys can have, and now they’ve also started producing their own tracks.
