The Aston Shuffle
I Wanna See You

ACT golden boys the Aston Shuffle have been smashing it in 2009. They’ve been riding high on winning the #3 spot in this year’s Sony inthemix50, but there’s no rest for the wicked as they were also chosen by the Ministry of Sound to mix a disc on their hugely successful ‘Annual’ release. We got them on the phone recently to have a chat about how they’ve been travelling, and we’ll hear their brand new single ‘I Wanna See You’ which you can expect to hear getting a good hammering in the clubs over the summer.

Beni – Maximus (Harvard Bass Remix)
First up we’ll be tuning into the Kitsune label, who along with Ed Banger are one of the coolest sources of house, electro and indie-dance to ever come out of France. They’ve just released the latest compilation showcasing their sound, ‘Kitsune Maison volume 8’. The track we’ve got for you comes from none other than our own Beni, formerly of Bag Raiders fame, and here we’ve got the Harvard Bass remix.

Bass Kleph – But Enough About Me
You’ll be listening to the latest single from Bass Kleph called ‘But Enough About Me’. He’s just returned from touring extensively across Europe and Canada, and he’ll be returning to his post at the head of Vacation Records. There’s certainly lot of love for Bass Kleph on inthemix, as he was the fastest mover in this year’s Sony inthemix50 poll, screaming up 26 places into the top 10.

Deepchild – Shameless in Seattle
Australian techno enigma Deepchild may be in the country playing gigs at the moment, but it won’t be for long as he’s got some pretty big international plans in store for next year. With a semi-permanent resettlement in Berlin on the cards, he’s also scored himself a 3-year visa to work in the United States. But he’s also been plenty busy in the studio. He’s got a load of new techno on the way, but he’s also taken a little excursion into dubstep territory with a new release on the SubContinental Dub label. Check it out.

Pole Folder – Hate Myself (Sasha remix)
Sasha’s intimate club tour of Australia is just around the corner, but in late October we were all blown away by the news that he’ll be back much sooner than we anticipated. He’ll be playing the Boiler Room at next year’s Big Day Out tour, and it should be amazing. Here you’ll here Sasha’s brand new remix of Pole Folder’s ‘Hate Myself’. It’s out now on Pole Folder’s own label La Tour, where he’s planning to release his new artist album in 2010.

Martin Solveig – Boys & Girls (Bart B More Dans Tes Rave remix)
French house master Martin Solveig is just about due back in the country for a tour, which will see him play a headline slot at Sydney’s Harbourlife. It’s one of the country’s most memorable events, due in no small part to the spectacular harbourside location where it all goes down. His most recent track was a collaboration with celebrated French designer Jean-Paul Gaultier, as well Canadian indie-dance act Dragonette. Here we’ve got the Bart B More Dans Tes Rave remix. Have a listen, and make sure you check out the clip on ITM.

Filo and Peri – Ashley (Andy Duguid’s Angry Remix)
Last up there, we heard a track from trance act Filo and Peri who are just about to release their debut album on Paul van Dyk’s label Vandit Records. If they’re impressing PVD, then they must be doing something right. The track we’ll hear is ‘Ashley’, with fellow production star Andy Diguid on remix duties.
