"Ave a geezer ay cause ya should prolly know about this crazy sheila who keeps us Canberra ITM massive in check"
My name's Danika and the psychiatrist said I should join this group for support... apparently I have an obsessive convulsive dancefloor disorder. Take pity should you spot me at the locals and lend help by donating to the bar. You'll then receive a "Spirit" (light or dark) which you may choose to use as a gift to me. Your sponsorship can make a difference to my desperate condition. These Spirit gifts are the only way this embarrassing disorder might be cured, or at least, the symptoms temporarily relieved.
Hopefully there are some of you that just read that first paragraph and are feeling compassionate, it'll be great for a laugh! If you're reading on I'll continue with a little more appropriate and truthful information...
It's true, I am Danika, but I'm boringly mentally stable. I'm a Canberran by trade, Queenslander by nature, Mauritian by blood and English by music taste. My time outside a dayjob in media communications and a uni course in PR is devoted to the local dance music scene, in particular, this here special lil' website we call our "common centre for the Canberran federal community involving and evolving dance music details, discussion and desires" (people call it that, right?).
I'm your contact, promoter, moderator and coordinator for ITM Canberra. Official title: ACT State Promotions Coordinator. Reco'nize.
If you have any enquiries or just wanna tell me you think ITM Canberra's tops please flick an email to canberra@staff.inthemix.com.au. If you're a promoter, DJ or venue operator in the 'berra region and we haven't yet met I would love to receive an email of introduction; if only so I have your contact details handy.
Get out there Canberra and bust some moves in support of our beautiful growing dance music scene. Trust me. It's the best possible way to keep warm.
Inthemix’s annual member Christmas party is back!
