Kat_in_Japan (#31808)

I started writing for ITM back in 2000, 19 years old and passionate about anything to do with dance music. I wasn't always "Kat_in_Japan" as alot of my early reviews were posted by my lovely Brisbane editor at the time, Cosmo Cater. In 2003 however I moved to Japan for three years and that's when the name was born....

I've done hard house raving in Brisbane, dressed up cyber in the UK, experienced outdoor psy-trance parties plus had my eyes opened to detroit techno in Japan, travelled to warehouse trance parties in Berlin, have lost it at numerous parties at Sidney Myer Music Bowl.....the list could go on and on. In my short life, I've happily embraced all aspects of the dance music scene and this doesn't look like stopping. What keeps me going on is the fact that there is always more to see, learn and do in this scene and I love it!

Now after several years in Melbourne, I am about to become your new Victorian State Promotions Coordinator and I can't wait to get out and amongst it with you all more so than I have been already! Melbourne is an amazing city full of vibrant, fashionable, friendly people. We have alot on offer here and so I call on Melbourne ITMers, let's show the other states that we know how to get loose and have a damn good time!

You lucky lucky people.....I look forward to getting to know as many contributors as possible as well as doing my best to make Victorian ITM just awesome. :-)
