Suspekt is Jesse Kuch from Cairns, Far North Queensland. Together with his mate Ian (Woodsman), Jesse is co-founder of progressive, techno, tech-house and minimal label Open Records.
Jesse has compiled 2 successful comps on Open, Festivus and Slow-Release, and his DJ career regularly seems him playing up & down the coast of Australia in both outdoor festivals, parties, & clubs.
Open Records also runs club night in Cairns, which has so far toured the likes of Lutzenkirchen, Marc Romboy, Dousk, Kasey Taylor, Fiord, Claude VonStroke and more. They also hosted the techno/minimal/progressive stage of InTheMix's GeneratioNext festival in Cairns in 2007.
As well as working with Open Records, Jesse also pursures a career in the entertainment media industry and is works at Cairns' major daily newspaper and news website The Cairns Post / Cairns.com.au
