I can not believe how good this nubreed series has been so far. But hey what do you expect from such a respected and well-known series as Global Underground?
Sander Kleinenberg (Holland)is the first European to tackle a NuBreed mix and this CD was the first DJ mix release that he agreed to. Lucky us! This 29 year old rising star wowed us all back in 1999 with “My Lexicon”, which featured on Sasha’s Ibiza mix for Global Underground. However don’t expect this CD to be a mix of just progressive trance.
Sander blows preconceptions and takes you on a dark and deep journey through tough tribal house, accapellas, and funky melodic house. His effortless transitions still progress through shimmering trance and steps into breakbeat at times. It is hard to pin point a favourite moment or track on the CDs as this isn’t a compilation that you would put on to hear a certain track.
It is an experience that should be heard in full for it to make sense. It can be seen why Sasha and Digweed admire Kleinenberg’s production and DJ skills. They’re just magic! Be prepared to see more of this amazing upcoming DJ.I personally can’t wait!
