Over the past six months, Peepshow has been carving out a niche in electro scene at one of the best (yet least known) venues in town - The Cross, above the Bourbon in Kings Cross.
Boasting a killer sound system and a great dance floor, the main room at Peepshow has played host to the likes of The Outlaws, Digital Love, Bandits, Ro Sham Bo, Melbourne's Agent 86 and Harris Robotis, and - from the Bang Gang 12" label - acts like the Bag Raiders, Like Woah! and Jaim-e Doom spinning alongside residents Mark Murphy, Jimmy2sox, Non Ferrous, Raz & Benjoir.
The Carpet Lounge, complete with a king-sized bed for those intimate moments, offers a veritable palette of sounds - from crunk to new wave, electro pop, minimal and Baltimore Club music with the likes of the GAD, Neil Up and Neil Down, Harry Hunter, Declan Lee, Purple Punch Crew and Mike Tyson from Health Club having played in recent times.
The Terrace & Terrace Bar make for the perfect pre-club drink option with (what any Sydney guide book will tell you is) a postcard picture view of the charming end of Kings Cross.
So what are you waiting for? Punch your dance card at the door from 10pm any and every Saturday night at The Cross and party, drink, dance, rave, crump and ...party some more. At peepshow, all is not what it seems.
