inthemix.2006 feat Ben Watt

After the overwhelming success of our ‘inthemix.05’ CD and tour featuring Tiga and Ajax, we couldn’t resist the temptation to do it all again this year; hold onto your hats, the ITM juggernaut is rolling into a town near you once again this December!

With the finishing touches now being put to our inthemix.2006 annual magazine, we’ve invited along forward thinking house DJ, producer and label kingpin Ben Watt, as well as local leading light Ivan Gough, to headline the launch tour and put together the accompanying CD.

Ben Watt is world renowned as one half of Everything But The Girl, and since branching out as a solo artist has established himself as one of the most in-demand musical minds in Europe. Pushing a sound intriguingly dubbed “deep house for the electro generation”, Watt’s sets in clubbing hot spots like Berlin, San Francisco and London, have him revered as one to watch in the future. His own record label, Buzzin’ Fly, have also continued to release a staggering array of quality tracks and mix albums. Ben’s mix is set to feature outstanding new music from the likes of Trentemoller, Sebastien Leger, John Tejada, Ashley Beedle and more.
