Fifteen years experience in the music industry has seen Mark Dynamix tagged as “one of Australia’s hardest working DJs” (3D World Magazine, 2005) and with over 1.5 million sales and more hits on his website than Muhammad Ali in a showdown, it’s not hard to see why. Voted #2 in Australia for two consecutive years and #3 in 2005 in the Technics InTheMix, it’s hardly a surprise that Mr. Dynamix is in such high demand.
Mark’s most recent release ‘Identify Me’, reached number 6 in the Aria Club Charts and has been on high rotation on Triple J, with his highly anticipated new release ‘Destructor’, coming out on Hussle Recordings in March.
Aside from two national tours to promote Ministry’s Mixtape & The Annual 2006 (which has become the highest selling compilation in the country ever, dance or otherwise), Mark spent much of last year touring Europe and Canada, playing the esteemed Love Parade in Berlin, Mambo in Ibiza, The End in London plus clubs and festivals in Stockholm, Hamburg, Bergen (Norway), Whistler, Banff and Vancouver.
Not since his stonking set at Madhatters last year has Mark been at Ambar, and the upcoming Habitat show promises to be a showcase of his interesting combinations of styles, innovative sampling and scratching.
