The clubbing brand that defined and then continued to redefine what a Superclub is all about – Godskitchen – returns to Australia to expose you to a combination of their freshest and most respected international residents. Perth will see the first of five Australasian dates on Friday, September 28, and you can expect a typically awesome sound and lighting production from Australian event partners Mellen Events and Future Entertainment, who are on a high in 2007, fresh from the success of Armin Van Buuren (a sell out), Future Music Festival and Summadayze.
Godskitchen began in the early 90s and quickly became the Superclub brand name, attached to a series of parties and residencies held in the UK. Today it continues as a weekly event at Godskitchen owned AIR nightclub in Birmingham and tours continuously around the world. The Superclub also doubles as an influential dance music label, releasing massively popular compilations and getting behind a select few of the freshest new artists in the dance scene.
For close to nine years now, the Godskitchen juggernaut has been travelling to Australia and delivering inimitable, unforgettable arena parties. Featuring massive line-ups sparkling with the world’s biggest DJ stars, and boasting world-class lighting/laser racks and state-of-the-art effects, ‘GK’ events, as they’re affectionately known and loved, have become a deliciously regular and highly-anticipated fixture on the ‘special event’ calendar.
From record-breaking club nights to the annual 30,000-strong Global Gathering, there is little… albeit nothing… that this deeply respected and cherished icon hasn’t achieved.

Micky Slim (UK)
One of the most charismatic individuals to smash his way onto the house music scene in recent years, Micky Slim is the Birmingham-bred bad boy who in 2005 came under the radar of Godskitchen promoter Mark Gillespie, and quickly became a Godskitchen Electric resident. This saw him play regularly to a rapturous home crowd alongside Erick Morillo, Chris Lake and James Zabiela, as well as debut at Global Gathering. Playing in the same arena as Deep Dish, Steve Lawler and Tiesto, Micky’s luck took a mammoth turn when James Zabiela got stuck in traffic, and was unable to show for his Live Essential Mix on Radio 1. They instead recorded Micky’s live set, and he duly responded by delivering 45 minutes of quality filthy acid, wonky electro and twisted tech house to a worldwide audience. This has resulted in Micky gigging around the world, notably the Sunrise Festival in Poland and Space in Ibiza. www.myspace.com/thatboyslim
The Thrillseekers (UK)
Emotive, evocative and sublimely melodic, the inimitable sounds of The Thrillseekers have been thrilling dance music’s A-List for over a decade now. Bursting onto the scene with anthems like ‘Dreaming of You’, ‘New Life’ and ‘By Your Side’, Steve Hilstrip is a seminal producer of global proportions – as his regular co-productions with the likes of Trevor Horn, Chicane, and Ferry Corsten, and remixes for Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren, more than pay testament to! Currently ranked #45 in the DJ Mag Top 100, The Thrillseekers are set to take Godskitchen on a ride it will never forget. www.thethrillseekers.co.uk
Alex Gaudino (ITA)
Starting out his career way back in 1993 at Italy’s infamous Flying Records and UMM labels, with the recent release of the monster tune ‘Destination Calabria’ Alex Gaudino has established himself as one of the world’s hottest names in dance. Currently sitting at number one In the European charts, ‘Destination Calabria’ is set for worldwide release shortly, and 2007 is shaping up to be Alex’s year in the same way 2006 belonged to label mates Eric Prydz and Fedde Le Grand. A talented and well-respected DJ, Alex Gaudino is set to sex up Godskitchen with his cheeky brand of funky electro house. www.myspace.com/djalexgaudino
