Armin Van Buuren - World's No. 1 DJ

Future Entertainment and Mellen Events are proud to announce the return to Australia of Armin Van Buuren, for a tour that includes a Friday night in Perth on June 13.

On the back of last years sold out White Party at Metro City, his Armin-only Perth show was voted the Best International Performance locally at the 2007 Perth Dance Music Awards (PDMAs), while nationally he was awarded Best International DJ in the 2007 In The Mix national poll.

And it seems the rest of the world agrees, with Armin also taking top spot for the first time in the DJ Mag Top 100 poll last year. His Australian dates will mark the first time he has been here since taking out the prestigious top spot, which he won from Tiesto and John Digweed, ranked two and three respectively.

Other awards in 2007 included the most prestigious award in Dutch music, the Buma Cultuur Pop Award, and at the International Dance Music Awards in Miami he took out Best Mix Show DJ and Best CD Compilation for A State Of Trance. The success of his A State Of Trance radio show has led to a signing with The Radio Department, home to Carl Cox and John Digweed, who have distributed the show internationally.
