Now in our fifth instalment and still so underground it hurts, Destination? is proud to present straight from the LDN – The Rogue Element – Saturday June 21st at The Cross.
A name synonymous with top level production and dancefloor smashing tunes, The Rogue Element has grown since his 2004 releases to become a bonafide member of the breakbeat elite. A row of Breakspoll awards adorn his studio wall – Best Breakthrough Producer (2005), Best Producer (2006), Best Remix (2006) – and in addition to these the acclaimed debut album ‘Rogue Rock’ received a nomination for Best Album.
Mad props from the likes of of Plump DJs, Freestylers, Stanton Warriors, Krafty Kuts and The Crystal Method have resulted in a string of remix requests and stacks of airtime. The Rogue Element has gone on to become a regular at The End in London, plus appearances at the Glade and Glastonbury festivals and he has rocked tours of Europe, the US and Australia.
Now concentrating on DJing and engineering work, The Rogue Element is set to come back strong in 2008 with upcoming single Sidewinder/Panic Attacks and the establishment of ‘Disco of Doom’ (with Tom Real) as a DJing and production team.
The Tone Def DJs and bkp man the decks for warmup duties while closing out specialist Robotek will wrap things up.
Doors open at 10 and entry is a measly 10 bucks before 11pm.
