2008 DMC WORLD DJ CHAMPIONSHIPS – NSW FINAL Tickets on sale now

Just like Barry White used to say, the DMC’s have got staying power…

Each & every year since 1986 the planet’s most skilful DJs have been stepping up to the DMC stage to try and claim the world title.

...Past champions include DJ royalty like Mixmaster Mike, Cash Money, Q-Bert, A-trak, DJ Craze while local DJs who have cut their teeth on the DMC stage include Pee Wee Ferris, John Course, GT, Anthony Pappa, Brian A.S.K, Samrai, Nino Brown, Eko, Stanley, Normz and Dexter.

This years World champ can look forward to a cool 10k cash along with the 2 gold-plated Technics turntables that come with the title.

First step for would-be contenders is to win one of the State finals which are coming up in July and are presented by TDK and www.dmcrecords.com.au in association with Dub clothing and supported by Technics.

Last years event saw Newcastle’s Skoob go home with the prizes and a flight to the Aussie finals in Melbourne.

The NSW finals are on Thursday 17th July at The Gaelic Club, 64 Devonshire street, Surry Hills.
