After a rolicking good opening party, we’re back with more tasty treats! This month’s guests are Tim Culbert and Jimmy Dau.
Tim Culbert’s star is rapidly rising, and it’s easy to see why. With a sound that spans across almost all forms of house music, from deep, subtle tech house to warm, melodic progressive, and technical ability envied by many but possessed by few, Tim is respected as DJ capable of playing any time slot at any party. So far Tim has held down rotating guest spots at Sweet Chilli, Subservice and Famous, run his own night Robotique, supported Lee Burridge, DJ Tiesto, Petter, Abe Duque, Supermayer, Paolo Mojo and Kriece, and played at Future Music Festival, with plenty more to come in 2008 and beyond.
Originally from Newcastle, Jimmy Dau packed his bags and moved to Sydney in 2000, and our fair city has definitely been the better for it. Since moving to Sydney, Jimmy has established himself as the DJ of choice for those who love to hear unique, upfront progressive and tech house with a fun, unpretentious edge. He has played at Famous, Subservice, Wanna Break, Sweet Chilli, and most recently Chinese Laundry, as well as run the popular Payday Thursdays and Balmain Bowlarama parties.
They’ll of course be supported by Eat Musik residents Trinity, Mortlock, Tiny Tim, and Andrew Wowk.
