As from Saturday just past we are broadening our music policy to simply BIG ROOM MUSIC. No longer will we be sticking to a specific genre the whole night. It will be all about mixing it up. If it rocks a big room then we will be playing it.
So get set as The Arthouse becomes Sydney biggest and best big room party. The Aston Shuffle: In 2005 after being friends and associated production whores with Mikah Freeman, Vance Musgrove & Ross McGrath started their digital label project, dubbed The Aston Shuffle. What started off as a group effort to get their previously unreleased tunes to the masses has skyrocketed into 2007 with the group heavily in demand for their white hot remixes – a little electro, a little techno, but all house. When the swing on their tunes hits the dance floor you’ll be more than pleasantly surprised how hard it is keep your body from going retarded.
With all three hailing from Australia’s capital Canberra, it was easy for their group projects to mix together, and as the sound of dance changed in Australia to the electro & tech house sound it is today, The Aston Shuffle as a production group was born.

Mark Dynamix: Having deejayed professionally for more than 15 years, Mark is a significant figure in Australian dance music culture. To date, he has 26 mix CDs, 4 original releases and multiple remixes to his name. With sales fast approaching 2million units, no Australian DJ has sold more compilations. His mix for Ministry of Sound’s “The Annual” became the highest selling compilation in the country ever, dance or otherwise.
Of course none of this would mean anything if he didn’t have talent. Mark’s expertise with the decks combined with an inspired track selection works alchemy on a room full of clubbers, swaying anyone within earshot to become a dedicated dance music aficionado. His ability to discover and develop the next sound is unparalleled in Australia, and the rise of Minimal and Electro in Australia can in part be attributed to his continual endorsement and personal affiliation with the genres. Regarded and awarded as the hardest working DJ in the industry, Mark is dutiful in his approach to deejaying; continually pushing the boundaries with his unique sound and educating Australians about underground electronica. Mark’s deejaying is more than finding the right tunes or playing solid sets of house, minimal or techno; Mark knows how to pull it all together and how to turn a DJ set into an experience.
