DJ RYO : SOLTICE MUSIC JAPAN
Ryo started his psytrance career in 1995 and has been closely connected to the Japanese trance scene since its early days. Since 1999, he has been the resident DJ for Tokyo-based Solstice Music and this has opened doors for him to play virtually all over Japan – continueing to gain supporters by creating an uplifting and groovy head-space utilizing eclectic tracks enhanced by his exquisite track selection and sensitive mixing. As for international activities, Ryo compiled and released the widely successful compilation album ‘Elegraffiti’ on Solstice Music and has performed his unqiue style in Germany, Brazil, New Caledonia and Italy. In Australia, he has appeared and layed down precision sets at Outback Eclipse Festival in 2002, Earthcore 2005 and Rainbow Serpent 2007/2008. We welcome him to Sydney for his debut performance!
