All aboard for Supermarket’s Magical Mystery Tour! Join Mr Beats and VJ Buttons (aka Supermarket) on a psychedelic journey in original beats and cunningly crafted visuals. Nominated for two Adelaide Fringe awards in 2010 including ‘Best Music Event’, this show marks the duo’s Melbourne debut. Originals and remixes ranging from dub through breaks to dancehall and d’n’b will feature, accompanied by visuals from abstract and animated through to pop-cultural mash. With added splashes of whimsical humour and philosophy, Supermarket connects the dots between clubbing, film and art and will have you grinning, giggling and maybe even wiggling. Live set tix $10/5 conc. on the door(7pm to 8pm). Free after 9.30pm!
