With 35 Music Industry awards under their belt, undoubtedly one of the biggest dance groups of the 90âs was C&C Music Factory. Throughout the early 90âs, they perfected the art of catchy pop songs with a house, techno and hip hop mash. The brainchild of two Grammy Award winning pop-savvy dance producers, Robert Clivilles and David Cole, C&C Music Factory delivered catchy dance songs, which remain a part of pop culture some twenty years after release.
The group was given a face and voice in Freedom Williams, the six packed baritone rapper and dancer who delivered the groupâs biggest hits âGonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)â, âHere We Goâ, and âThings That Make You Go Hmmmâ¦â. The songs all hit the top of the charts around the world, and their debut album which the songs featured on, âGonna Make You Sweatâ sold 5 x times Platinum in the USA. The group went on to release the singles âJust A Touch Of Loveâ and âDo You Wanna Get Funkyâ which also went to Number 1 on the US Charts.
