The Avalanches are taking their wild soca celebration that is the BRAINS Nighclub On Tour on the road around Oz in late Jan/early Feb. They’re corrupting Sydney on Friday February 4, and they’re bringing King Marong and his rotating guest percussionists and singers with them.
Brains is amped up air raid sirens, crazy sounds FX like screams, groans, pissing sounds, phones ringing, gremlins laughing and people being electrocuted, some extraordinarily psychadelic afro rock and the mind bending rhythms of the Afro-Carribean electronic hyrbid ‘SOCA!’
Brains is a low key, low fee bush turkey disco dance of the stupidest kind and is not to be missed.
