Cassian was launched into blog-ville stardom in 2009 with the release of his ‘Friday Night EP’, whereby the young Aussies signature sound of funky wah-guitars, fat basslines and bouncy kicks made him an instant success. Turning heads of Local DJ’s, Producers, Labels, and Music Lovers worldwide alike, there’s no way that Australia’s famous record label modular (with artists including Cut Copy and Van She) and its equally compelling DJ-focused subset of its empire, BANG GANG, could pass on an opportunity to add Cassian to the roster.
Cassian has proven himself as one of the top torchbearers of this funky generation: By capturing our hearts time and time again with remixes of tracks such as Flight Facilities’ “Crave You”, Miami Horror’s “Holidays”, and Two Door Cinema Club’s “What You Know”, it’s obvious that there’s nothing more compelling than a CASSIAN REMIX to draw the masses onto the dance floor!
