You might know his as Nathan G, or you might know him as Groovehunter. In fact, there’s any number of names that he goes under, but one thing is for certain, if you’re a fan of quality house music and you don’t yet know who Nathan G is… you’re doing your ears a disservice.

Having slaved away on the Australian underground for well over a decade, it’s unfortunate that Nathan has received more recognition for his music internationally than in his home country. Regularly touring throughout Europe and the USA, he’s had his tracks championed by luminaries like John Digweed and Danny Tenaglia, and he’s released music on labels like Om, Kinky Vinyl, Dreambeat and more.

2007 is looking to be Nathan’s biggest year to date. Recently invited by Ministry Of Sound to mix a disc alongside Alan Thompson in their latest ‘Housexy’ CD series, the release marks Nathan’s debut into the world of mix compilations. He’s also just setup his own imprint, Luv Bug, and has a heap of productions ready and waiting to melt dancefloor around Australia and beyond. ITM’s National Editor Tim Hardaker spoke with this under rated Aussie talent recently.
