Metrik, or Tom Mundell, has fast been making a name for himself in the drum & bass community over the past few years, so it was with a good dose of excitement that we welcomed him to ITM HQ for a Fridays inthemix session. What we got from the DJ-producer was two solid hours of bass music, and now you can listen again to his effort.

Since releasing his debut track Your World in 2007, Metrik has been signed to Viper Records, won praise from Zane Lowe and comparisons to Sub Focus. 2011 saw him hit the #1 spot on the Beatport DnB charts twice over with collaborations with Futurebound, as well as releasing his debut EP Between Worlds. As you’ll hear on this mix, he can certainly throw it down as a DJ too – strap yourself in!

I hate this guy, I haven't listened to his music, I just read his name as maetrik, whenever I see it, an then get dissapointed when it isn't.
