I'm currently in the process of creating an anthology piece for Chasers to put up on ITM. They've got big plans for the closing parties and will have a few different closing parties to mark the occasion. Everyone from Richie Rich to Kylie and Danii have been involved, so far the only person not secured to play or attend is Anthony Pappa, but if they're currently trying to raise the $20,000 needed to bring him out.

This Sat 21st is the final Delirium and Enter the Dragon with Dean Cherny, Corrado, Eddie Rinaldo and Papa Smurf plus others.

The major closing party is on Sat April 28th and will be a VIP and industry only event in the early part of the night then open up to the general public after 10.30pm. The Last Dance has a great lineup with Andy Van, Mark James, Franky D, Dr Jon, Kasey Taylor, Sean Quinn, Jayse Knipe, Phil K, Jayson Digby, Will E Tell, Richie:)Rich, Rudeboy, Terrence Ho, Simon Digby, Steve Robbins, Guy Uppiah, Nigel Last, Krystal, Jim & Jane, Charlie Quay, Paul Siedle, Timmy Byrne, Gavin Campbell, John Potelli and more.

goodbye chasers and thanks for the memories. i havent been there for a while as

i've lived in brisbane for the last couple of years. i actually dj and promote up here

now and put on a monthly shindig called 'horny', most recent one being on sat

night featuring phil smart among others. if my party wasnt on i definately would've

flown down for the last hoorah at chasers. many a fun time was had at chasers

and i feel very privaliged to have been a regular there in the late 80's early 90's and

onwards when dance music was taking off. being a lover of all kinds of music i

was also, like many others for many years, a regular at hardn'n'fast on wednesday

nights. and delirium. remember heading out to boogie there on sunday nights as

well. how popular was delerium. sometimes lines around the corner! on a sunday

night!! i remember being there on sat nights in 90-91 and dancing on a podium to

songs such as public enemy's 'fight the power' and doing my flavour flav moves.

the times at KFC across the road afterwards with my mates. and the kebab

shop. the times looking for a park in the carpark behind the shops across the

road. and asking and being asked for any spare passes while walking from the

carpark to the club. and of course, the great times in the club itself. great tunes,

great, fun times.

farewell CHASERS.
