Some awesome technical DJs worth watching? Names
Hi Guys,

As you may know on top of the DJ list, you have what my friend would call "push Cds" (Coz they just load one CD after another with very simple mixing, if their are not on lappy), honestly most that are on top of the list have produced awesome tunes, and fair enough for the crowd it is all about music and entertainment, but at the end of the day, they foremost are not technicians in the context of ripping the CDJs and the DJM to the last details of what these machines can do and achieve, when it comes to that, I have 4 names that come into my mind:
Kissy Sellout
LaidBack Luke
James Zabiela
Rik Parkinson

I am probably sure they are not the only ones, so what I am looking for is getting some names of DJ that would fit in their group with amazing Pioneer Skills...so I could check them up, opinions???

Numark, Cut Chemist, Shadow, J Rocc etc. Personally I am more of a fan of people who are technically impressive on basic equipment (I know Shadow does some pretty mental stuff with effects and looping) but seeing someone destroy on a pair (or 2) or 1200's still gets me everytime.

DJ Kentaro is impressive.

There was athread in this forum on turntable DJ's a while ago, I've searched through back pages without finding anything, does any one remember what it was called?

^ Man 1200's are so much fun. It's a shame that art form will never be what it once was. Love the second half of that vid

Kid Koala! Very unorthodox, weird and quirky style. Super talented and worth a watch, even if you don't dig his style.

Mills is clever.

Zabs is best on the toys.

DJ Craze is the best I've seen on the vinyl

not super tricky but definitely technically brilliant. LARRY LEVAN! may be a bit hard to find videos though. have heard stories about him turning the needle upside down and playing records that way just because he could!
