The Rainbow Serpent Festival returns again for another summer outdoor extravaganza of music, dancing, arts, camping & other activities. The event will again be held in the scenic country location near Beaufort, around 2 hours drive from Melbourne over Australia Day Long Weekend. The 3 day festival includes the main dance area, alternative music stage , extensive markets & stalls, wholesome foods, healing & workshops program, childrens area, arts installations & performers, chill space, outdoor cinema, camping area and more!

This year will feature our biggest ever lineup of some of the worlds leading trance DJ’s and producers along with over 50 of Australias favourite artists. Attracting locals and travellers alike we welcome all people to be apart of this tribal / trance family. Expressing who they are, exploring their dreams and enjoying the whole experience.

i can't believe that _finally_ it's almost time again - i've literally been waiting and waiting since the day after the last one finished.... (that's 10 months!!)

bush parties ARE the best - and RAINBOW SERPENT (YAY!!) i think is the best of them!! (along with Earthcore, which I also love tremendously).

ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER ON A 3-DAY WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm not much of a 'raver' anymore, but i'm sure i will ALWAYS enjoy bush parties. sure the music is good stuff, but what i enjoy most of all is the camping side of it in SUCH an beautiful amazing inspiring friendly @mosphere (which despite all those descriptive words is really quite ineffable). i wish the world lived inside one of these bush parties - especially Rainbow Serpent.

after going to the (terrible) 'Full Moon Party' in Thailand, i really think we may have the very best parties here in Australia (especially in Melbourne ).

my only complaint is that they aren't more frequent!! (but i suppose that means we appreciate them even more).

indeed, i'm going to both Rainbow Serpent _and_ BDO - not prepared to miss either (especially Rainbow!!!!). i did that last time - and had the most super fantastic party weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i finally made it to rainbow serpent january this year...
talamasca was farkin wickid along with everything else from open to close.
the after party thing @ the healing village rocked too but i retired after a few hours, was so fucked n overwhelmed.:tripping:
wot really disaponted me was the healing village was still rocking when we left 11am on the monday....this years plan is to get there thursday & rest well then party all weekend & if possible leave tuesday

that's my theory too.

My theory goes that i have not yet been even remotely disappointed over the last 5 rainbow serpent festivals, they pay amazing attention to detail, this one wont disappoint either

they are having a breaks stage, its really nice to they are branching out musically whereas there vibe will always be the best ever! 8-)

Who remembers this from last Rainbow Serpent? Apparently it’s a fighting dance called Capoeira. To me, I just thought it was amazing kun-fu kinda fighting stuff – it all looked so very surreal!!!!!!!!

Very much hope they’re back for next year. (They were hot!!!!!!!) ((And man, it was so so surreal!!!!!!!!!))

rainbow serpent 2004 is definite, since ec has become too big and i love the village feel of rainbow.

wickid shit! im pumped for this n have a loverly stamp collection ready for the RSF....
we're hoping to arrive around 4pm on the friday n im struggling to contain my excitement!!!!

well I was sorta lookin forward to my first Serpent Festival this year but had a breakdown with my girlfriend and all her friends so now am cursed to stay at home the entire weekend and waste a damn good ticket . but mayb it was for the best ! who knows ! Errrrrr I'm a mess !!!

Was a weekend of hardship for myself being without my Girlfriend and havin no smoke all weekend thats how it goes though !!!
